3" or 4", What's the difference?
A 3" tall cake will have two layers of cake and one layer of filling, while a 4" tall cake will have three layers of cake on two layers of filling. The 4" cake can serve more people as well, if you split the tiers. The servings listed on my site assume 4" tiers. If you order three inch tiers you can still serve as many people, but your slices will need to be smaller. for serving information see serving chart.
